Itinerary
8am: Depart Accra, Arrive Hohoe. Check in at hotel. Lunch. Tour briefing on historical & socio-economic aspects of major Ewe communities of the Volta Region and the investment potential of the region. Rest of day at leisure, optional tour of Hohoe township. Dinner, Overnight.
Depart hotel for Tour of some the most Mountainous parts of Ghana including Mount Gemi and possibly Mount Afadjato, Ghana’s highest peak, where it may be possible to do a climb. Picnic Lunch. This part of the Volta Region is also infested with numerous Waterfalls, a typical example being the Wli Falls which features on the itinerary. Return to hotel for evening Traditional Dance exposee & dinner. Overnight.
Full Day waterfalls tour. 7am tour of Wli Falls and other major Volta region waterfalls, with a brief stop at the Tafi Monkey sanctuary a centuries-old haven for monkeys which have a special bond with humans. Brief stops at en-route villages for quick interaction with locals engaged in a variety of business and domestic activities. Return to hotel for dinner. Overnight.
Depart hotel at 8am on return trip to Accra. Early evening arrival in Accra.
End of tour.
